Young innovators competed for mentoring. Among the best startup from Wroclaw

“Zagraj o mentoring” competition is aimed at young innovators with extraordinary ideas who aim to overcome technological challenges and solve business problems. The main prize in the competition is participation in the seventh edition of InCredibles, a comprehensive, tailor-made acceleration and mentoring program initiated by Sebastian Kulczyk in 2017.

33 creative companies from all over Poland competed

This year, as many as 33 companies from all over Poland took part in the competition. From among the proposals submitted, the competition’s chapter selected nine that qualified for the final stage and presented their ideas during the finals at inQUBE’s headquarters in Wroclaw.

The competition chapter included representatives of business environment institutions and the startup community: Dominik Marzec (Director in the Entrepreneurship Support Department, Wroclaw Technology Park), Krzysztof Górka (CEO of DFR Inwestycyjny Sp. z o.o.), Karolina Wilk-Tryjanowska (Co-Founder see.community), Rafał Tomkowicz (Development Director of the Association of Financial Enterprises in Poland), Mikołaj Szyc (Acceleration Manager at Żabka Future).

From television straight to shopping

This year’s winner was the Insbuy project. This startup develops a solution for redirecting the viewer of a TV channel or video content on the Internet, directly from the video to purchase specific products in the e-commerce channel.

Also honored in the competition was the Academy of Rafters and Llamas, a startup developing an educational platform for children to learn and play through movement. Here, the prize is participation in the second edition of the Startup Excellence hybrid postgraduate program organized by inQUBE and Wroclaw University of Economics.

It was created to support innovations

The organizer of the event, inQUBE University Business Incubator of the Wroclaw University of Economics, was established to support the business aspirations of students, graduates, academics and budding entrepreneurs in the ICT industry. A team of experts from various fields works with the Wroclaw Incubator.

These include both academics and business practitioners who provide substantive support to those planning and developing their business activities. inQUBE is also a modern office and event space, which is a place to meet, work and learn, and is part of the campus of the largest economic university in Lower Silesia.
