#9 Startup WRO Meetup / Humanity: Unplugged

We have an evening ahead of us full of expert knowledge, without filler words or empty clichés. There will be experts who not only achieved great success but did so with ingenuity and determination. Pioneers of artificial intelligence, which is genuinely changing our present, will be there, along with investors who can spot true business gems before they make headlines. On stage, we’ll also have a representative from an American giant from San Mateo, valued at billions of dollars, as well as a founder with ADHD who finds peace only when creating new startups. There will also be a business angel sharing practical advice on how to effectively secure funding for your startup’s growth.

Is Poland really creating its own artificial intelligence, or is it just implementing ready-made solutions from abroad? During the panel, we’ll have an honest conversation about where we stand today as an innovation ecosystem, what potential lies within Polish tech creators, what tools we need to scale our companies globally – and what we can do to stop the brain drain. This is a conversation about ambitions: do we truly want – and are we ready – to be leaders, not just subcontractors in the race for the future of AI?

Fawaz Ghali from Snowflake will talk about how he builds scalable and secure AI solutions using Snowflake Arctic LLM and Streamlit. Then, we’ll move to the VC Insights segment, where in a Fireside Chat with Maciej Zawadziński, Partner at the newly founded Wrocław-based VC fund Hard2beat, we’ll discuss the incoming rain of money and the places where heavy downpours may occur!
