A map of the Lower Silesian startup ecosystem is being created. You can help create it!

14.08.2025

It only takes 10 minutes to have a real and meaningful impact on the direction in which the Lower Silesian startup ecosystem develops. Fill out the survey and share your perspective on running a startup and creating innovative business projects with the support of the innovation environment.

A study is launching with the goal of collecting as much feedback as possible from the startup community. Its results will serve to create an accurate picture of the innovation ecosystem in the city and region—not based on assumptions, but on the real experiences and opinions of its participants.

“Wrocław has been attracting innovators, technology visionaries, and globally ambitious entrepreneurs for years. However, to build a strong, integrated, and supportive startup ecosystem, we need more than good energy and a few spectacular successes. We need data. And a shared understanding of where we are, what we lack, and what comes next.”
Paulina Muszyńska, Head of Startup Wroclaw

Just 10 minutes – fill out the survey

All those who have a real impact on the development of the ecosystem are invited to participate in the study, including:

  • startups, founders, and early-stage entrepreneurs who want to operate in a friendly, balanced environment,
  • investors, funds, and business angels looking for valuable projects and a transparent market,
  • public institutions that want to support innovation wisely and effectively,
  • universities and organizations that build bridges between science and business.

Simply filling out the survey and sharing your perspective will help co-create the future of the startup ecosystem in Wrocław. Completing it will take a maximum of 10 minutes.

What matters to startups

The survey includes questions regarding key dimensions of the ecosystem, such as:

  • investment climate and access to capital,
  • challenges and barriers to the development of local startups,
  • effectiveness of support mechanisms (accelerators, programs, infrastructure),
  • needs of various stakeholders—from founders, through investors, to public institutions.
“The collected data and insights will be used to formulate concrete strategic recommendations designed to support the region and its partners in more effectively fostering the growth of innovative companies and strengthening Lower Silesia’s position as one of the leading startup hubs in Central and Eastern Europe.”
Marta Piksa, Project Manager at Startup Wroclaw

Every voice counts!

According to representatives of Startup Wroclaw, the goal is to ensure that Lower Silesia—and especially its capital—is not only a good place to live, but also the best place to build innovation.

“The study of the Lower Silesian startup ecosystem is not only an opportunity to better understand local challenges and potential, but also a chance to demonstrate that our region has something important to contribute to the broader, international conversation about innovation and entrepreneurship. Participation in the study is more than a questionnaire. It is a concrete way to co-create the reality in which we want to operate. Here, every voice matters.”
