Business Breakfast dedicated to AI and Chatbots at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology

The Center for Innovation and Business and the Department of Artificial Intelligence of the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications of the Wroclaw University of Technology invite you to a meeting in the series of Business Breakfasts of the Wroclaw University of Technology. This time the event will focus on the AI industry, especially the market and chatbot technology. The event will be held already on December 13 from 9:00-12:00.

IT is one of the fastest growing industries in Wroclaw, and AI is its future. During the meeting, in a relaxed atmosphere, over a good cup of coffee, you will learn about, among other things, the technological potential of the PWr Department of Artificial Intelligence and the consortium led by the University of Technology, the CLARIN-PL Center for Linguistic Technologies.

Nowhere do linguistics and artificial intelligence interact so strongly as in the creation of chatbots. The creation of ever-more modern, intelligent, natural language-based chatbots is enabling the development of countless industries, especially in the areas of e-commerce and customer service.

What will we talk about?

During the meeting, CLARIN-PL will present its innovative, largest Polish-language database, which could be the basis for the creation of new generations of chatbots, imitating human conversation as naturally as never before. You will also be able to learn about the latest developments in AI. Scientists and experts from the Faculty of Informatics and Telecommunications at the Wroclaw University of Technology and the Faculty of Philology at the University of Wroclaw will also participate – the interaction of technology and humanities is essential today when creating innovations related to the replication of human behavior.

To whom are we directing the event?

We invite Wroclaw softwarehouses interested in the topic of chatbots. During the Business Breakfast you can take part in networking, exchange experiences and share good practices. The meeting will be opened by Prof. Tomasz Kajdanowicz, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Wroclaw University of Technology, followed by presentations by leading companies from the industry, Q&A session and networking, the whole event is scheduled to last about 3 hours.

The event will be held on December 13 from 9:00-12:00 in Room 007 of building D-21 of Wrocław University of Technology at Pl. Grunwaldzki 11, Wrocław.
