Paulina Muszyńska, the head of Startup Wrocław, has been awarded the Business Angel of the Year national competition, which recognizes individuals who play a key role in the development of the Polish startup ecosystem. On Thursday, March 13th, during a ceremonial gala in Warsaw, she received a special statuette in the Ecosystem Mentor category. The Business Angel of the Year competition is organized by COBIN Angels, the largest professional community of Business Angels in Poland. This national initiative honors the best business angels and individuals who play a pivotal role in the development of the Polish startup ecosystem and assist its members in spreading their wings.

This year’s winner of the competition was Paulina Muszyńska, the head of Startup Wrocław. She received the award in the Investment Ecosystem Mentor category – for the most dedicated mentors in the startup ecosystem who support young tech companies and investors, among others, with their knowledge and commitment to creating conditions conducive to innovation.

An esteemed group of finalists

According to Paulina Muszyńska, the group of finalists was very distinguished. Therefore, while receiving the statuette, she congratulated everyone for their wonderful work done for the development of the Polish startup ecosystem.

This award is a summary of the last three years I’ve spent with my team at Startup Wrocław. It is also a distinction for them and for the entire tech ecosystem of Wrocław. It also opens the door to further amazing projects.”
