Analysis of the impact of the current economic conditions on the functioning of start-ups, as well as a presentation of their daily activities and the challenges they face, is the aim of a survey conducted by the Startup Poland Foundation. It is worth taking part, not least to confirm the fact that Wrocław is currently the most important startup centre in Poland.

Prezentacja ubiegłorocznego raportu

The Startup Poland Foundation, as the voice of the startup ecosystem in Poland, is for the seventh time conducting a survey among startup owners to examine their current business reality against the background of the current economic situation in the country and the world.

Very important report coming out

Based on the answers received, the report “Polish Startups 2023” will be prepared, describing the Polish startup environment. It is compiled annually by the Startup Poland Foundation. It is the most important and most extensive compilation describing the market of Polish innovative businesses. In addition, it is the most anticipated, most frequently quoted by domestic and foreign media and organisations supporting the startup ecosystem in Poland.

Every year, the report reaches many local and foreign institutions, entrepreneurs, politicians, journalists and investors from Poland, Europe and around the world. It also reaches innovation managers in the largest corporations operating on the Polish market. It not only stimulates their interest in investing in technology, but also indicates what cooperation between corporations and innovators should look like.

It is also an excellent opportunity to showcase Wrocław as an important start-up hub. Especially since it was hailed as the “Polish Silicon Valley” last year.

Improved law needed

According to representatives of Startup Poland, the data in the report is a point of reference for those drafting laws or innovation funding programmes. This is because it reaches the desks of decision-makers at all levels. This is why the organisers of the project convince that it is worthwhile for those in power to get to know the opinions of startup owners, who can thus influence the legal environment in the country. Their insight gives them the tools to create better laws, which are conducive to the operation of such companies.

The current report can be downloaded for free from the foundation’s website. So far, the report “Polish Startups 2021” has been downloaded more than 2,000 times and “Polish Startups 2022” has been downloaded more than 3,000 times in the first six months of this year alone.

Let’s keep the growing trend going! 😉

You only need 8 minutes

All owners of young technology companies who want to speak out on the Polish startup market can now fill in a questionnaire on the Startup Poland website. They can also send a link to it to other startups in our country. The survey can be filled out until the end of August 2023.

As every year, from among the startups that complete the entire survey and leave their contact details, several will be selected and presented in Startup Poland’s social media. Additionally, 5 of them will be invited to Paris for this year’s France Digital Day.
