SatRev moves to new office in Sky Tower!

25.07.2023

A leading space company has moved to a laboratory in Wrocław's tallest building. The new, prestigious location is intended to make communication easier for employees, but is also an opportunity to adapt the space to the needs of the company opening offices, laboratories and new offices there. What will SatRev be doing in the Sky Tower?

More possibilities at Sky Tower

SatRev had already announced a change of location last year. The choice fell on the Sky Tower – a building in the city centre with spaces to accommodate both offices and laboratories. In mid-July 2023, the space company announced that they were already operating in their new location. They had been moving from the research centre of the Łukasiewicz Port Research Network in Pracze Odrzańskie since spring.

“One of the main advantages of relocating to the Sky Tower is better access to the various amenities that this unique location offers. The Sky Tower is well connected, making it easy for both employees and clients to get to the company. Moving our company to the Sky Tower is also an opportunity to adapt the office space to our current needs. In the new location, we have had the opportunity to design more functional interiors that are conducive to effective work and team collaboration.

The new headquarters will include conference rooms, offices for non-technical specialists and a laboratory area, where engineers will also work in very specific conditions, including a clean room, an optical laboratory and a mechanical laboratory.

SatRev with new prospects

The company promises dynamic growth and argues that the new location is also an opportunity for new collaborations and challenges.

“Since the expansion of the office, carried out due to the dynamic growth of the company, new prospects have opened up for us. We have been able to establish contracts for the provision of satellite data (including image data), including a record-breaking contract with Poland’s National Agricultural Support Centre worth PLN 42 million for crop monitoring. In October, we are already planning to launch our next satellite into space, this time in cooperation with SpaceX, as part of the Transporter-9 mission using a Falcon rocket.

Additionally, we have entered into a partnership with the Sultanate of Oman, for whom we will provide and operate a satellite. Although we are awaiting the launch of the AMAN satellite, cooperation with Oman has great prospects for growth. Our company is also committed to helping, educating and developing new future projects. We are currently negotiating or have signed contracts for a variety of services, both in Canada, Australia and African countries, Grzegorz Zwoliński mentioned.

Satrev is recruiting

SatRev is committed to innovation and development in the space industry, with an increasing demand for highly qualified specialists. Therefore, you can expect to recruit into the team. We are constantly looking for talented individuals who want to take on the challenge of working in this fascinating sector.

Poland’s first satellite factory will be built near Wroclaw

A Wrocław-based company in the space sector is planning to build its own factory producing satellites, which will be launched and managed by the company by 2026. Each year, up to 200 of these satellites are to be produced. The factory is to be built in the Legnica Special Economic Zone. A letter of intent to this effect was signed in May 2022.

“Our ambition is not only to fulfil contracts for external partners, but also to launch and manage a constellation of our own imaging satellites, which will also include state-of-the-art high-resolution satellites developed with our proprietary DeploScope technology, prototypes of which we are already testing. We are also considering going on the stock market in Poland or abroad.
