The Concordia Design Accelerator aims to support dynamic and creative startups. The program is operated by Concordia Design Wrocław, based on Wyspa Słodowa. Between 2021 and 2023, it attracted 31 international tech startups to Poland and provided nearly 9 million PLN in funding. Now, as part of the Startup Booster project, co-financed by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the initiative is extending its support to Polish entrepreneurs.
Concordia Design Accelerator – applications now open
The program will run until 2026 in multiple rounds. This year, it is looking for startups whose solutions can be implemented by established companies and public institutions (B2B/B2A track) or are attractive to investment funds (Investor track). The first application round is already open and will run until September 23, 2024. Startups can apply via the Concordia Design Accelerator website.
We create strong business partnerships where startups collaborate with corporate partners to drive their growth. If the collaboration is successful, the startup can receive up to 400,000 PLN in a free-equity grant—meaning no shares need to be given up. This makes the program exceptionally attractive.

The program is especially looking for solutions in the fields of e-commerce, Industry 4.0, and Social Impact.
Solutions that benefit local communities

Business partners of the Concordia Design Accelerator include the City of Wrocław and Wrocław’s Municipal Water and Sewage Company (MPWiK). This means that startups joining the program could develop solutions that directly benefit residents.
The accelerator’s ecosystem partner is Startup Wrocław, a team from the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency, which actively encourages tech companies to apply.
We are proud of our close collaboration with the City of Wrocław. On one hand, they help us find valuable projects, and on the other, they are committed to testing the solutions proposed by startups.
– Ewa Kaucz
According to the head of Concordia Design Accelerator, the city’s involvement in the program is a great example of how public administration can effectively collaborate with young tech companies.
