Trust as the currency of innovation
According to representatives of Startup Wroclaw, the event organizer, trust is becoming the new currency in the world of innovation. Startups that build products based on data, AI, and automation increasingly have to prove that they can not only develop technology but also protect its users.
“Cybersecurity is today’s currency of trust. A startup that is thinking about global growth must have solid security foundations—from code to organizational culture.”
Maciej Jacenik from Startup Wroclaw
From idea to practice
The main point of the program will be a panel discussion entitled “Security by design: Can We Build Trust Into Tech?”, moderated by Marcin Śledzikowski, partner at SDZLEGAL Schindhelm.
The discussion will feature:
- Borys Łącki – Security Ninja, LogicalTrust
 - Marek Kędziera – CEO, Mobile Trust
 - Łukasz Bonczoł – Co-founder, Gallio PRO

The experts will discuss how to design attack-resistant systems, how startups can implement “security by design” principles in practice, and what mistakes they make when scaling their solutions.
“Security is not a brake on innovation, but an essential component of it. Only trusted technologies have a chance at global success.’
Maciej Jacenik
Can technology be trusted?
Among the speakers will be Dr. Olga Malinkiewicz, co-founder and CTO of Saule Technologies, one of Poland’s most recognizable deep tech companies, which develops perovskite cell technology. She will talk about responsibility in building breakthrough technologies and the challenges facing startups that combine science, business, and security.
Participants will also hear a conversation entitled “VC Insights,” in which Paweł Dobosz from Formative Company Builder and Maciej Jacenik will talk about how investors perceive security issues when assessing the potential of startups and how the importance of so-called “trust tech” is growing in global financing rounds.
A special highlight of the program will be the participation of Jeni Chang, managing director of the Founder Institute, one of the world’s largest accelerator networks, which supports tech entrepreneurs from idea to scaling. She will talk about global trends in building startups that are resilient to crises of trust, new acceleration models, and how Wrocław-based companies can join the Founder Institute’s international program.
“The visit of a representative of the Founder Institute to Wrocław is a sign that the city is becoming increasingly visible on the map of the global innovation ecosystem.”
Paulina Muszyńska, manager of Startup Wroclaw
New projects and unique networking
During the event, Maciej Szott, founder of Luxon LED, will announce a new project supporting the development of technological innovations in Wrocław. Kasia Beker from Browar Stu Mostów and Beer Geek Madness will talk about combining creativity, brand, and technology in building a community around products.
As always, the meeting will end with brewery-style networking. These are informal conversations, inspirations, and meetings that often turn into new ideas and collaborations.
“Startup WRO Meetup is not only about knowledge and presentations. It is primarily about people who drive the ecosystem and are able to combine passion with technology.”
Paulina Muszyńska
