They have innovative business ideas. Experienced Mentors will help them grow

16.07.2024

Innovative agricultural field analysis, artificial intelligence for radiology, an electric wakeboard, or weight-loss support capsules – these are just a few of the projects developed by young entrepreneurs participating in this year’s edition of the Startup Launchpad mentoring program. During the first meeting, thirteen teams presented their business ideas.

Knowledge straight from a Mentor

Thanks to Startup Launchpad, young tech companies have the opportunity to receive valuable support from experienced entrepreneurs who have already built successful businesses.

For two months, participants will work closely with a mentor—an experienced startup founder from Wrocław—who will guide them in developing their business project. This collaboration will give them insight into the reality that every entrepreneur starts in a similar way and that with hard work, they can scale their businesses. The program helps them avoid common mistakes, set the right priorities, and achieve their goals within a defined timeframe.

Participants from beyond Wrocław

This year’s Startup Launchpad edition includes not only young entrepreneurs from Wrocław but also from other regions of Poland. One participant even traveled from Rzeszów specifically to take part in the program.

I joined Startup Launchpad to find a mentor who can help me grow my business. I especially need support in marketing and sales.”
— Tomek Sas

“I’m a beginner when it comes to startups. I applied to the program to gain new knowledge and meet people who already have the experience I need and are willing to share it. This will be an incredible journey for me, and I hope to learn a lot.”
— Sandra Jeżak

Guidance on what not to do

The program’s mentors are startup founders who have already secured investor funding (including PreSeed and early Seed rounds), gained their first customers, and built engaged teams.

“I joined the program because I believe young startup founders need guidance, especially on what not to do—because they usually already know what they should do.”

Marek Wielgucki, CEO of Four Point

A productive summer ahead

Throughout July and August, participants will work individually with their mentors. Each team will have access to at least one hour of one-on-one mentoring sessions per week. The results of their work will be showcased on October 24, 2024, during Made in Wroclaw, where selected teams will present their projects on the expo stage.
