A true boost
At the end of 2024, WTBAC members decided to invest in the business venture Smabbler. This innovative Wrocław-based startup is developing artificial intelligence for working with textual data. WTBAC offered them so-called Smart Money—a combination of funding and active business support. With the experience, connections, and knowledge of the investors, the Wrocław company can grow faster, scale operations more efficiently, and better plan its global expansion in 2025.
Supporting talent matters

According to club members, the decision to invest in Smabbler is proof that the Wrocław startup ecosystem is becoming a space for real investment activities that support early-stage companies with global potential.
“We have created a space where local talent and innovation find the support they need to realize their visions. Investing in Smabbler is an opportunity for us to promote Wrocław-based startups with the potential to succeed in global markets.”
— Piotr Krzysztofik, Co-founder of Wrocław Tech Business Angels Club
It’s Not Just About Capital
The founders of the Wrocław startup are also pleased with the newly established partnership.
“We are incredibly excited to receive support from WTBAC. This investment is not just capital for us—it is trust and motivation to keep growing. We believe that together, we will achieve great things by bringing innovative solutions to the market.”
— Luke Pytel, Co-founder of Smabbler
