Startup Launchpad is a mentoring program aimed at developing the local startup scene. It is aimed at startups at a very early stage of development, when they still lack funding, have no revenue, but have a business idea and know their target audience, and have a minimum of 2 people involved in their business. For three months, the young entrepreneurs will be assisted by a mentor, the creator of a Wroclaw startup, who will help them develop their business project.
“We want to show young founders that everyone starts like them and with hard work they are able to realize their project. Using the experience of their older colleagues, they will avoid mistakes, set their priorities appropriately and achieve their goals within a certain time. We will not focus on theoretical lectures on the theory of young business development. These will be three months of intensive work that will bring real results.”
– says Paulina Muszyńska, head of Startup Wroclaw
It’s better to learn from other people’s mistakes
Mentors in the program are startups that have already raised funding from investors (including PreSeed round, max Seed round), already have their first customers and a team committed to growing the company.
“We got a lot of help from others, we made even more mistakes. This project is nothing more than a desire to share our experiences with those who are where we were just a year ago.”
– Krzysztof Nyczka, CEO of Medu
Acceptance of applications has begun
The first, pilot edition of the project will run for three months, during the 2023 summer break. Recruitment for project participants began on April 21 and will end on June 18. The inauguration of the project and the pairing of participants and mentors will take place on June 29. Meanwhile, it is scheduled to end on September 28, 2023, when the results achieved by each participant will be presented at the final gala.
Willingness to participate in the Startup Launchpad project can be registered on the project website.
The Startup Launchpad program is coordinated by Startup Wroclaw and inQube.
“InQUBE is not just a place to work or meet. We try to inspire and educate. We also want to be a platform that allows entrepreneurs to exchange experiences. We believe that effective mentoring in many cases can be as important as funding. Startup Luncheon fits perfectly with our goals. We were able to engage a group of young, but already very experienced entrepreneurs as mentors for the program, who will be an invaluable source of knowledge and inspiration for those at the beginning of their business journey.”
– Jan Jakub Cendrowski, director of inQube
