Exit strategies, scaling a business, and venture capital funds are the main topics of the first event in this year’s Startup WRO Meetup series. The event will bring together creators of new technologies, investors, and individuals who want to learn more about the path to success in the tech industry. This time, the event will take place in a refreshed format on February 19, 2025, at Concordia Design Wrocław on Słodowa Island. Startup WRO Meetup is an event focused on both content and networking for startups, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts, organized by Startup Wrocław. The first event of the series will take place this upcoming Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Concordia Design Wrocław. This is the first meeting of the series this year, and it will feature not only young innovators, investors, mentors, but also business angels.

Interesting guests, exciting topics

The program will include a panel discussion with people highlighted in the “Creators of the Polish Startup Scene 2024/25” poll, published by the MamStartup portal. On stage, among others, will be Mateusz Tałpasz, CEO of the Wrocław-based startup SmartLunch, and Konrad Ozdowy, innovation manager at PKO Bank Polski. The discussion will focus on key topics for founders and investors, such as exit strategies and scaling businesses.

Another point in the program will be a fireside chat titled “VC Insights: Lowercap,” where Krzysztof Górka, CEO of Lowercap and DFR Inwestycyjny, will share his experiences related to creating a new venture capital fund in Lower Silesia. The conversation will cover investment strategies and processes, investor expectations, forecasts for 2025, and practical tips for entrepreneurs seeking funding.

Meanwhile, representatives of Concordia Design Wrocław and the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency will talk about effectively managed and animated ecosystems during the “Community Integration” fireside chat.
