Wroclaw the capital of startups! In June, the latest edition of Evolutions: Meetup & Showcase

Evolutions: Meetup & Showcase is a unique event in this region of Europe, combining experience exchange, meetings with experts, startup competition and energetic networking. The event will take place on June 19 and 20, 2024 at two locations – Coventry University Wroclaw and the New Horizons Cinema and will become an opportunity for inspiring meetings. The capital of Lower Silesia will once again gather innovators, founders, investors and representatives of the business world.

A venture with great momentum

As Paulina Muszyńska, head of Startup Wroclaw, announces, this is another year when the formula of the event is being expanded.

This time it will be two days with pitching workshops and additional networking meetings. In addition, the biggest stars of the startup scene will be present. Workshops and a competition are also planned – says Paulina Muszyńska.

We are very happy that we can again co-organize Evolutions Meetup & Showcase in such an inspiring formula and with attractive accompanying events. Inspiring workshops with practitioners

The event’s schedule includes basic and advanced level startup workshops with practitioners in their fields. Their goal is to provide a solid dose of knowledge to support the development of young ventures. Experts from Movens Capital, Hard2Beat, Being Waters Ventures, Fidiasz EVC, and Warsaw Equity Group, among others, have confirmed their attendance. They will share tips on how to prepare a startup for international success, fundraising and scaling, as well as how to convince an investor for your project. They will also tell how, with limited resources, to effectively promote a young company and use the potential of social media.

Knowledge and contacts worth their weight in gold

According to the organizers, the opportunity to establish valuable relationships and the substantive nature of the event are the two most frequently highlighted by past participants of the event.

According to Maciej Nikodem, CTO of Unitem Mower, during Evolutions 2023 representatives of his company took part in both workshops, the conference and the startup competition.

The workshops allowed us to open our eyes more widely to the possibilities and actions we can take in the area of our solution. On the other hand, contacts with the workshop leaders or the competition jury provide feedback supported by broad experience and knowledge – Maciej Nikodem.

To win money and tickets to important events

An integral part of Evolutions: Meetup & Showcase is a competition in which six companies will present their achievements. They will compete for cash prizes and tickets to major European technology events.

According to Maria Kivachuk, Marketing Specialist & UX/UI Designer of the winning BioCam, success in the Evolutions: Meetup & Showcase 2023 competition has opened many doors for her company and provided not only prestige, but also concrete support for BioCam’s development.

The awards with which we were honored enabled the further development of remote capsule endoscopy technology and strengthened our position in the industry. Our win was not only an honor, but also an impetus for further development and innovation – Maria Kivachuk.
