Woodpecker.co SA – the Wroclaw-based SaaS organized a cold mailing event for 5 companies from around the world

Is it possible for a company that develops a technological product that helps thousands of companies around the world run and scale their sales processes to organize a week-long, on-site event and film a documentary series based on it?
The answer is yes.

The team at Woodpecker, a Wroclaw-based startup that debuted on NewConnect last year, organized the Woodpecker Cold Email Camp. A week of workshops focused on cold emailing and sales processes. Five companies from Spain, Lithuania, Brazil, New Zealand and the United States participated in the event.

Moreover, the formula we decided on, both in the context of the event and the documentary series, will enable us to realistically help companies that need such support to develop and scale their sales processes.”

An international event and top sales professionals from around the world in Wroclaw

In addition to sales and cold mailing professionals who have been working with the company for a long time, experts such as Josh Braun, Jason Bay and Nick Cegelski were also invited to participate in the event. Specialists who conduct workshops and training sessions around the world on a daily basis.

Where did the idea come from?

The first discussions about implementing the project took place at the beginning of the year.

“We wanted to create a project that would not be a classic marketing activity. When talking about the event and the documentary series that will be based on it, we were able to name only a few companies from the United States that have implemented similar activities.”

Formula of the event

The Woodpecker Cold Email Camp assumed that the participants of the event would come to the company’s headquarters for a whole week. This is what happened. From September 12 to 16, 2022, entrepreneurs from all over the world, under the guidance of experienced experts, gained knowledge on cold emailing (prospecting, targeting, copywriting, messaging and sending) and sales.

Documentary inspired by Netflix productions

The event itself is just the beginning of the project, which will culminate in a documentary series documentary, produced during the event. It will include excerpts from lectures by experts, as well as statements by participants who shared their experiences they gathered building a business during daily interviews.

We will do this so that every entrepreneur who wants to grow his or her business can watch it and learn from it practical knowledge that will help grow their own business.”

The documentary series will be published in late 2022 and early 2023.
