21.11.2023

INKsearch.co, a Polish startup hailing from the capital of Lower Silesia and owner of the European Union's largest platform for booking appointments in tattoo parlors, has just finalized the purchase of Tattoome.com, a French company leading in the industry. This gives the Wroclaw-based company a chance to conquer the market on the Seine.

INKsearch.co is a Wroclaw-based technology company that has created a specialized CRM tool (INKbusiness) that allows customers to quickly and conveniently book a tattoo with the artist of their choice. On the platform, the communication process between customers and artists is significantly streamlined, allowing for more efficient order processing. INKsearch.co is also a space for inspiration and designs tailored specifically for the customer. The platform offers a wide spectrum of proposals from many artists. As a result, customers no longer have to spend weeks searching for inspiration. Artificial intelligence helps them choose the tattoo they like, and INKsearch will suggest artists in their city who create work in a similar style. The platform currently works with more than 7,000 artists.

The French market has opened up

Currently, INKsearch.co is planning to expand in the French market. This is to be helped by the acquisition of the Tattoome.com platform, which is a leader in the tattoo industry in that market. Almost 3,000 tattooists have used its offerings so far, and the number of visitors to the platform annually exceeds more than one million users. The acquisition took place with the support of private investor Piotr Lagowski, who provided capital and helped carry out the acquisition process.

According to Mat Lagowski, CEO and co-founder of INKsearch, the acquisition of Tattoome.com is a major milestone and gives it the opportunity to expand smoothly into a new market.

“The French tattoo industry remains one of the largest in the EU, and Tattoome.com perfectly complements INKsearch’s operations. The platform has built an excellent reputation in France over the years, and we look forward to accelerating the digitization of the French tattoo industry.”

Big opportunities for growth

For his part, Benoit Maisont, CEO and co-founder of Tattoome.com: assures that his company has been closely monitoring local and global competitors for a long time.

“We are very impressed with INKsearch’s performance in the European Union, both in terms of product and growth prospects. France is an ideal market for its product offering. We see great potential here for our users, customers and partners. I look forward to INKsearch’s ability to further revolutionize the French tattoo industry.”
– Benoit Maisont

Growth in the new market is a milestone in the development of INKsearch.co. The acquisition of the French rival means a huge opportunity for the Wroclaw-based startup to expand geographically, giving it a chance to strengthen its leadership position in Europe.
